British summers use to be a gentle thing
British summers used to be a gentle affair: a few warm days, a brief panic over the sunscreen, and then, inevitably, back to the drizzle. But that’s changing. The past few years have made it clear — sometimes rather forcefully — that keeping your home cool is no longer a luxury. It’s about everyday comfort. And, when the heat really bites, it can be about protecting your health, too.
When we looked at how people actually got air conditioning installed in the UK, we found a category stuck in the past. Vague pricing. Unvetted tradespeople. No clear process. Homeowners left to navigate a patchwork of local contractors, confusing quotes, and no obvious way to tell the good from the bad.
Temlo exists to fix that. Not by reinventing the technology — the hardware is excellent — but by building the experience around it that homeowners actually deserve. Simple, honest, and fast. From first question to cool home.

Getting AC shouldn't require three phone calls and a spreadsheet. We've built Temlo so you can go from question to estimate in 60 seconds. Every decision we make asks: can this be simpler?
Trust
We show you a realistic price range before you speak to anyone. We tell you what's included, and what might change it. Every installer is certified, insured, and reviewed. We don't work with people we wouldn't send to our own homes. No asterisks, no surprises, no exceptions.
Quality
We only work with leading equipment brands — Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Panasonic, and Samsung. And we only work with installers who take the same pride in the job that we take in the brand. If an installer lets a customer down, they leave the network.
Climate
We're not naive about the irony of selling cooling in a warming world. We think about it, we talk about it, and we act on it. A portion of every installation goes to fighting climate change. We only install energy-efficient, A-rated systems. Always.

Trying to do better
There’s an obvious tension in what we do. Air conditioning uses energy. More AC means more demand on the grid. We’re not going to pretend otherwise.
What we can do is be deliberate about how we do it. We only install energy-efficient, A-rated systems. We prioritise inverter technology that runs at lower power when full capacity isn’t needed. And we give a portion of every installation to environmental projects that fight climate change directly.
It’s not a solution. But it’s a start — and it’s a commitment we’re not walking away from as we grow.
OUR STANDARDS
Installer requirements. No exceptions.
REFCOM registered
Required for all F-Gas refrigerant handling in the UK. Every engineer on our network holds current registration.
F-Gas certified
Legal requirement for anyone working with refrigerants. Customers receive an F-Gas certificate on every completed installation.
Fully insured installers
Every installer carries at least £2M insurance before setting foot in a customer's home.
Verified customer reviews
We check review history before onboarding and monitor it after every job. Installers who fall below our standards are removed.
Fast response
Every installer commits to contacting customers quickly. We track this. It matters.

Temlo launched in 2026, starting in West Sussex and London. We don’t have thousands of installations behind us yet. What we do have is a clear idea of what this experience should feel like, a network of excellent installers who share that view, and a genuine commitment to getting it right.
